Honeypot vs Redchapel

 

About a week ago I played a 40 soul stone Malifaux game on Vassal.

Strategy was Plant the Explosives.

My list was:

Seamus + Copycat Killer
Mortimer
Bete Noire
Dead Dandy
Rotten Belle
Dead Doxy
Gravedigger

Opponent had:

Jakob Lynch + Hungering Darkness
Kitty Dumont

Turn 1

On the first turn Ten Thunders bunches up in the middle. Seamus takes a shot at Hungering Darkness and injures it severely. Then Seamus is moved to left side of the board, while Bete Noire is skulking to Outflank position on the right. Gravedigger, Mortimer and Rotten Belle are holding the middle.

Turn 2

Seamus finished Hungering Darkness before it becomes a problem. Bete Noire slaps an explosive on the right, as well as being in position for Outflank. Dead Dandy does the same on the left. Copycat Killer runs deep into opponent's side. 

Rotten Belle charges to the middle, and survives attacks by Kitty Dumont and Mr. Graves. 

Dead Doxy, on the other hand, is turned into Depleted by Jakob Lynch. The Depleted comes to tie up Bete Noire.

Both players score strategy, and Resurrectionists score also Outflank.

Turn 3

An Illuminated charges Seamus and deals six points of damage, which was reduced by three with a soulstone. Copycat Killer then switches places again, and Seamus starts to place scheme and strategy markers around.

Kitty Dumont and Illuminated kill Rotten Belle, and Mr. Graves comes to have a conversation with Gravedigger. With his fists.

Lynch and summoned Depleted try to deal with Bete Noire, who survives.

Ten Thunders scores Dig Their Graves, and Resurrectionists score Search the Ruins and strategy.

Turn 4

Kitty Dumont and Mr. Graves kill the Gravedigger. Seamus continues to plant schemes and strategies around. Mortimer manages to dig up a zombie to help in fight against Illuminated. Another of them put a strategy marker. 

Depleted tries to do some damage in to Bete Noire, after which the summoned addict dies. Lynch puts a scheme marker next to the corpse and attacks Bete Noire, who buries herself and pops right back up from the Depleted corpse. She starts attacking Lynch, and even gets a proper suit to bury herself... again.

Both players score strategy, making the scoreboard 5-3.

Turn 5

Last turn Resurrectionists score strategy and both schemes. Opponent scores strategy and Outflank, making the point total 8-5 for Resurrectionists.
